It seems as if there are a large number of voters in this country who like the Republican rhetoric but who will hate the consequences of the policies. Should be very, very interesting if they gain control in 2012.
Republicans don't seem to realize that if government (federal and local) cut back on services that the citizens want, there is going to be hell to pay - just look at the conservative governments in foreign countries that have tried this, e.g. Great Britain. Greece and France.
