Balance of Power?
I scan quite a few political blogs every week. I can often pick up quite a few quick views of what's going on in the political scene by watching the stories posted there. One of them - Daily Kos - spends quite a bit of time following the polling of political races all over the country. Lately the polls have been showing that the Democratic candidates have an edge in the mid-term elections coming up in November.
I can't help but be skeptical. Things have been so bad - for so long - I find it hard to believe we might actually get some balance back in our government by having some opposition players in power. What do you think?
