The Nose Grows Longer
Sigh. The Republicans just won't quit. Sometimes it seems like they lie about stuff even when there's no need - and even when there's a good chance they're gonna get called on it. Why? Is it because it's so hard for them to justify their positions on the issues that it just becomes second nature to make things up?
Sigh again. There must be a lot of people in this country who buy into the lies and then do not believe the truth when it is exposed. Look at recent polls showing that 40+% of Americans still link Iraq and Saddam Hussein to the 9/11 attacks. Even the President has debunked his earlier remarks.
