Call to Duty
What with so many Conservatives calling for the war in Iraq to continue - calling for an expansion of the war to include Iran and North Korea - where are the volunteers? Many in the blogosphere are calling those who blog - but won't fight - the 101st Fighting Keyboardists.
The armed forces have had to increase the recruitment age to 42 - and they are still failing to meet quotas. Of those who are recruited, many are under-equipped and ill-prepared for battle due to funding shortages.
In WW II, folks who believed in the cause enlisted to fight and those at home sacrificed to provide the funding and materials needed for the war effort.
Face it - not even those who want this war in Iraq want this war in Iraq. At least they don't want it to interfere with their climb up the economic ladder. Nitwits all.
