Owww. Ouch! My head hurts. I can't stand it anymore. Why do I read this stuff? How can these educated people be so stupid? And even more stupidly, how do they get elected to Congress?
Now the Republicans have de-funded (is there such a word?) the $300 million bridges in Alaska that create roads to isolated parts of the state. This might sound grand, if you thought that the money would go to the war effort or to hurricane relief. But no - a blank check for the amount will be handed over to Alaska to spend on any pork-barrel project their hearts desire.
